This TDS (Theft Deterrent System) Neutral cover plate prevents the Neutral release strap/lever from being pulled and your car getting forced into Neutral by thieves.
Thieves break in, force the car into neutral, then push the vehicle away by hand or even with another stolen car. Once the thieves have your car in a safer location, that is when they usually will reprogram a key and start driving your car to the chop shop, a street takeover, or on a joy ride.Recommendations: Our goal is to STOP MOPAR THEFT!
